The Communiqué No. 2026/10 regarding Rural Development Support Grants for Water-Efficient Irrigation Systems was published in the Official Gazette dated April 3, 2026, and numbered 33213, and entered into force. Applications for Individual Irrigation Grants under this Communiqué must be submitted through the Ministry's website, "https://www.tarimorman.gov.tr/", by 23:59 on June 12, 2026.

The Communiqué aims to support the purchase of individual irrigation machinery and equipment by producers in order to promote the widespread use of modern pressurized individual irrigation machinery and equipment developed for agricultural activities; to ensure higher quality production that meets market demands; to ease the work of producers who work physically in difficult conditions; and to reduce production costs, thereby achieving a competitive level internationally. PROGRAM INVESTMENT TOPICS:

a) In-field systems,
1) Drip irrigation,
2) Sprinkler irrigation,
3) Micro-sprinkler irrigation,

b) Large mechanical systems,
1) Center Pivot-Linear irrigation systems,
2) Drum irrigation systems,

c) Renewable Energy and Technology-focused systems,
1) Solar-powered irrigation (Irrigation systems + Panel),
2) Smart irrigation-Automation systems (Sensor, Control, Remote management),

Real and legal persons can apply, provided they are registered in the Agricultural Registration System (ÇKS) established by our Ministry. Project owners are obliged and responsible for providing the contribution of the grant-eligible goods purchase amount from their own resources.

Since the grant portion of the cost of goods purchased is covered by public funds, public funds cannot be used to finance the contribution that must be provided by real and legal persons. Those who have received low-interest loans for modern pressurized irrigation through T.C. Ziraat Bankası A.Ş. and the Agricultural Credit Cooperative within the last five years, including the application year, cannot apply for a grant for the same parcel of land that was the subject of the loan. In project applications accepted under this Communiqué, support is provided through grants covering 50-70% of the cost of goods purchased, including VAT. Provided that reference prices are taken into account, the cost of goods purchased for the grant cannot exceed 10,000,000 TL. If the cost of goods purchased exceeds this amount, the excess will be covered by the applicant as an in-kind contribution. Application budgets are prepared including VAT. Applications will be evaluated by the Provincial Project Implementation Unit within thirty days from the final application date, and investors (farmers) who are entitled to receive grants will be determined in accordance with the budget allocated to our province by our Ministry. Investors wishing to obtain information about the project can contact the Provincial Directorate's Project Implementation Unit to receive the necessary information. Investors can obtain the Implementation Guide, application forms, and informative documents from the website www.tarimreformu.gov.tr. After the grant agreement is signed between the Provincial Directorate and the investors (producers) who have been awarded a grant under the program, the procurement of goods must be completed within a maximum of 75 days.
