In a letter from the General Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) to our Chamber, forwarded by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), it is stated that employers meeting the conditions stipulated in Articles 75, 78, 80, 85, 88, 93, 96, 101, and 109 of Law No. 5510 on Social Insurance and General Health Insurance, and whose minimum wage support payments have been deducted from their social security contributions since 2018, are requested to transfer these amounts to the bank accounts of the Provincial Directorates of the Turkish Employment Agency.

The letter further states that, in order to ensure a more orderly and faster process for the return of these amounts, which are deducted from the payments due for tenders within the scope of this provision by public institutions and organizations and held in escrow accounts, the aforementioned bank accounts of the Provincial Directorates of the Turkish Employment Agency have been closed, and these amounts should only be transferred to the following account belonging to İŞKUR.
